Greetings! I’m discussing why it is important for me to take responsibility for improving my own mood when I get into a funk. (I’m talking to and about myself in this video). I must not only rely on someone else to help pick me back up because they may not always be available to or have the energy to make me feel better. It does help to have people around, and there to help, but there is some personal responsibility for the work that needs to be done.
(*4 Mobile Apps start at 5:04*)
Trigger a sequence (doesn’t really matter what exactly) that sparks a momentum of energy. It’s about making the decision that you want to shift your energy, and producing some sort of effort to jump-start your battery. The reset routine itself matters less compared to the conscious decision you make to start it. That’s where the healing and reset happens.
I’ve also included 4 mobile applications that I use as a quick jump-start into resetting my routine and self care. These apps really do help me, I’ve spent a decent amount of time using them over the years, and sometimes just even thinking about them when I get irritated helps calm me down, as I know I have a quick system in place that I can activate. I think my favorite one to use out of the four when I’m steaming is the Infinity Loop game. Allowing my mind to focus in on a minimalistic but challenging puzzle, centers and grounds me. It produces instant mindfulness.
Much love to you,
