Beautifully sunlit pool terraces expand the living space in these three modern villas, captured by the photographer Danang Sita. Elegant decor schemes introduce luxury indoors, and provide tasteful settings for holiday fun. The first of our three signature holiday villas features a landscaped pool area with lawns. Boho-style quarters lie inside, punctuated by cozy cushions, jute rugs, and trendy rattan items. The design of the second villa carries a touch of tradition, with classic garden sculptures placed around the pool. A sunken seating area adds a retro flair. Finally, we will round off our thirties with an unusual villa in an industrial style. The concrete decor builds a cool aesthetic, while the wood accents build a welcoming warmth.
Villa Lamotte is a beautiful two-storey holiday home with a sunny pool terrace. A small pool transforms into a modern landscape design, as lush lawns and tropical plants add lively color.
At night, the pool terrace becomes a magical oasis of warm light and shimmering waters. Uplighters display the sculptural creations of Mother Nature and her outstretched leaves.
The terrace floor alternates between neatly manicured lawns, small decked spaces, and meandering walkways. Alternating floor surfaces create visual interest and added dimension.
Wide glass doors dot the length of the villa. Glass doors open a free-flowing connection between the large living room and the outdoor living spaces.
With the sliding doors pulled back, there is natural ventilation through the villa. Conversation between people can take place both indoors and outdoors by the pool.
There are a couple of outdoor loungers on a small deck by the pool, under a shady garden canopy. After sunset, the loungers become a great place for conversation under the stars.
Tall palm trees grow around the borders of the landscaped gardens. Its tall trunks break the solid profile of the high boundary wall.
Inside the living room, a large jute rug creates a texture island for a cozy seating area. Cream sofa pulls around the edges of the rug in an L-shape.

The second shower room receives sunlight through a well placed skylight.
Our second luxury holiday home is Green Villa, located 650 meters from Jimbaran Beach. Here, the outdoor area is almost completely consumed by an attractive blue pool design. A narrow balcony borders the ledge. Classic garden statues are reflected in the surface of the water.
At the end of the long pool design, we discover a compact garden area that includes small trees and flowering plants.
A sunken seating area brings the homeowner and his guests down to the pool’s water level, making conversation easier between the two recreation areas.
In the center of the conversation pit is a small rattan coffee table perfectly positioned for receiving drinks and snacks.
The design of the villa wraps the swimming pool in a U-shaped lap. At night, the villa’s interior lights flood the outdoor area with bright light. The swimming pool feels like a part of the interior, which makes it inviting during every hour of the day and night.
Sophisticated color threads in blue throughout the villa, from the blue pool tiles and matching sun loungers to the blue dining room and coordinating kitchen cabinets. In a built-in kitchen diner space, wire-frame dining room pendant lights drop into black anchors.
Stunning wall decor draws the eye into the casual foyer area. Blue scatter cushions color the gray sofa.
In the master suite, a custom-made dressing table runs across the entire length of the room. The end of the bed bench conceals extra storage.
Double wardrobes flank the door to the en-suite bathroom.
On the second floor, spacious balconies overlook the pool deck. A rooftop terrace crowns the property.
A mezzanine is built over the sunken seating area, creating an airy double height void.
Wicker chairs provide a place to rest on the bedroom balcony. Glass balustrades leave the view unobstructed.
