“For this project, we started with the idea of setting up an apartment that had sophistication and comfort”, explains Alê Rovito. The decoration of the social environments is marked by the natural veneer finish of ironwood, according to the architect, a choice made by the client who appreciates the material. “From this very striking sheet, we continued with a more neutral and light color palette”. In addition, the professional included classic elements, such as boiseries, designed new pieces and reconciled the owner’s furniture and artwork with the new proposal.

Another highlight of the project, according to Alê, “was the creation of the illuminated bookcase to draw attention to the double height”. The furniture guided several other decorative choices. Thus, on the TV panel, the material used was matt Sahara Noir marble with a dark and striking tone.

In the dining room, the air-conditioned wine cellar, fully customized for the project, draws attention. With glass doors, it is possible to admire its interior finish all worked in ironwood. For Rovito, “the apartment harmonizes a modern and sophisticated style with classic elements that appear in a subtle way”. Also worthy of mention are the paintings and works of art that the client already owned.
Master suite with neutral tones

“For the master suite and private areas, we followed a more neutral line, but with the work of different textures and fabrics”, says the architect. The headboard to the ceiling was made with upholstered panels. Also, “the wallpaper, of course, greatly valued the space, a special request from the client”, declares Alê. On the ceiling, the molding allows indirect lighting of the environment, which is great for rest spaces.

The master bath also has a sophisticated look, with a custom-made caesarstone bathtub. The box has two showers and side showers on the wall. Alê says he really appreciates “the classic touch”, and emphasizes, “in this contemporary and urban apartment, which reveals a metropolis like São Paulo, he gave a unique charm to the decoration”.

The home office space maintains the classic line in the decoration. “We had the client’s guidance in the choice of tones and wood veneer”, highlights Alê. Lighting appears in different ways in the apartment, with chandeliers, sconces, illuminated niches and LED profiles. “We like to work a lot on the lighting because it brings this scene to the fore, especially in a project like this”, says the professional. She concludes, “we believe in unique projects, in the unification of functionality, comfort and aesthetic balance”.
